Default John in Beaufort

Hey John...I'm coming down in May and again in June this year and thinking of bringing a boat. Would a good sturdy all-welded jon boat be of any use fishing the around there. Obviously the Broad River would be too big of water for that boat, but do you think it could be used in some of the smaller creeks etc? Thanks

Br549,
I am sorry I did not see the post earlier. It would be useful to fish in alot of areas around beaufort. The High Tides in May and June will offer some great opportunities for tailing redfish, and a jon boat would be the perfect platform to get to some high tide flats that you can't get to by wading. Hope this information helps.

John
