Default Muskrat sez Howdy !
Just wanted to say howdy to everybody on this forum and thanks for everything I've learned in the past year I've been reading your posts.

I started reading this forum last summer after driving past the smokies on our way to Myrtle beach. My reaction to seeing these mountains for the first time was WOW what have I been missing all these years !

I am still new to fly fishing I took a spell with the long rod about 10 years ago and just started again last year. Most of my flyfishing has been for smallmouth until last fall when I caught my first trout on a fly.

The family and I are coming down June 6. staying at Smokemont and I alredy have permission to do lots of fishing !

Welcome! You should enjoy staying at Smokemont. It was right in the middle of a ton of great trout water...good luck and make sure to post a report!

Welcome to the forum. You will have alot of fun at smokemont. There is good water volume this year and alot of fat, hungry trout just waiting to smash a fly!
