Rushed up to Calderwood this morning but, the action was slow and only put 2 to hand and 1 LDR. All three fish came off 3 different flies and I threw almost everything in my 3 fly boxes. The fish were feeding on the surface/subsurface but, I couldn't figure out what they were feeding on. Oh well, it beat setting at home.
A pretty 13 inch bow on my 3rd cast had me thinking it was going to be productive way. ![]() ![]() Check out this gill plate. Stocker?? ![]() #2 ![]() Check out this spring lizard. ![]() He was on this waterfall wall that I went up to get cooled off under. ![]() Hope you enjoyed the pictures. |

definately enjoyed the pics. thats a nice bow. I was up on elkmont this weekend and had fish feeding on surface and sub surface also. I never fiqured out what they were feeding on either. But the larger the fly i used the more strikes I got. The smaller stuff never even moved them.

Fishing from a vessel I take it? I work with a fellow who fishes a lot at the Calderwood dam, haven't heard him saying much about it this year. Beautiful fish thanks for sharing.
