Default 7/30 report - It's hot

There's no Kreskin like reevaluations here...it's really, really hot out. I'm also sick of talking about the weather so I'll leave it at that. I got the chance to fish Saturday morning and bounced around 441 on both sides, but stuck to the Tennessee side after my good weekend a few weeks ago. Didn't see any activity at first so prospected with a yellow EHC, and caught a couple small brookies. The fish were very lethargic with light hits and lazy takes and refusals. Saw a few small black stones and hooked and lost a good fish and had a very large brook trout follow it through a pool and refuse when the fly finally had some drag. Missed a ton of fish even with small yellow sallies in the film. Fun day, but frustrating missing so many fish. Better than Bele Chere all day.

Some pics and full post on my blog. http://bit.ly/q2nCBk

Teddyp, the late Will Rogers stated that people talk about the weather but no one dows anything about it.

You got that right. Soon we'll be complaining about the cold.
