Has anyone seen the new sculpin helmets. Their made by international fly tying or something like that. Was just wondering if anyone has used them. They look very heavy.

No Hackle-
I haven't seen them, but I am interested in that I've had good success with sculpin flies and other similar streamers. Do you have a link? Thanks Bill |

I saw them on Blue Ribbon out of Arkansas. It's one of those things you just know will work great, give a good profile and get the fly to the bottom. I'm going to mention them to Byron and Daniel. I bet it won't be to long before we see them LRO.

That product is called Fish Skulls, here is the link. I think they are going to have a new generation of them come out soon. I like the helmet head much better than the original design of Fish Skull.

LRO had some of the fish skulls last winter. They look great as an alternative to a "dumb bell" on a Clouser(as if one is needed). I'm going to tie up some small streamers for saltwater in Florida.
