new to forum
hello to all, new to the forum but have been reading posts for some time now. i live in knoxville and can be found fishing in the park most weekends. i often go to the clinch also and sometimes to the nolichucky and watauga where i grew up.
i am very new to fly fishing, and seems like i get "skunked" more often than not. this hasn't deterred me so far though! i am open to any and all advice, and will be spending the day thursday in the park for a much needed break from work! hope to learn more from others on this forum and look forward to making new friends. andrew

Welcome aboard. It's good to have you join us. This is certainly a great place to mingle with a whole bunch of knowledgeable folks (as well as a goodly number of folks like myself who are still learning) and learn all manner of interesting things. Hope you enjoy your time here.

no worries! that's great though. i am looking forward to making an attempt at deep creek again. last time i tried i approached from new found gap rd. once i finally got down to fishable waters i had a nice and close bear encounter with a couple of cubs and momma was no where to be seen! needless to say, i didn't get to fish very much! nice area though, looking forward to going back!
