hello to all, new to the forum but have been reading posts for some time now. i live in knoxville and can be found fishing in the park most weekends. i often go to the clinch also and sometimes to the nolichucky and watauga where i grew up.
i am very new to fly fishing, and seems like i get "skunked" more often than not. this hasn't deterred me so far though! i am open to any and all advice, and will be spending the day thursday in the park for a much needed break from work! hope to learn more from others on this forum and look forward to making new friends. andrew |

no worries! that's great though. i am looking forward to making an attempt at deep creek again. last time i tried i approached from new found gap rd. once i finally got down to fishable waters i had a nice and close bear encounter with a couple of cubs and momma was no where to be seen! needless to say, i didn't get to fish very much! nice area though, looking forward to going back!
