Jim, I wasn't too pleased with the condition of the fish as well, I was thinking they might have been that way because they were spawned out, but after all it would be hard to eat a bug that was going by you at fast speeds as well. Why don't you put the word in to your buddies at TVA and tell them to back off some.

Rod,
I think he was being cynical! Glad you got out on the water and caught some fish bud. Thanks for sharing the report.

Give us a yell, there was an extra seat on that trip.

And Shawn, fishing streamers is a a whole new ball game, one must have a sinking line and be willing to cast till your arm falls off.

Shouldn't be spawned out yet, that shouldn't happen for another month or so.

Fish has good color, just really skinny, as that size usually are really chunky.

Did y'all catch any others? If so how was their condition?

I saw some pics from some other buddies of mine and they looked to be pretty healthy.

BTW I am not knocking your fish, just concerned with the lack of weight it is carrying through the winter.

Nice job guys! Did you throw streamers the whole time? I love the winter streamer bite. Definitely a fun way to fish...
