Well, I got tired of lugging a tri-pod around in my boat for filming and taking pictures. So; I modified some scrap parts an made a camera mount for my boat. My only worry is that it may be sensitive to boat vibrations. I may have to add a damper or gyro to help it stay even keeled.
![]() I bought the flex-support & mount at Radioshack for a couple of $$. Taped and threaded the inside of the support. Threaded and added a short piece of rod that would mount in to an old tripod base. It can easily be removed by just unscrewing from the mount base. Also; you can buy extra mounts at Radioshack for super cheap to have multiple mounting locations. Thought I would share... ![]()

Better angle it to the side unless you want a show of the back of your head
Nice rig!

. I get tons of horrible footage. But, the beauty of the digital age is that you can pick and choose. I think people would truly be amazed at some of the shots I have captured from my boat. Also; I have made a long (5-6') rod that has a mount on it so that I can video from the boat with a boom system. I have some great shots sneaking up on 40-50" striper.
