Many of you that tie your own flies like to strengthen them with epoxies or polyurethanes to make them more durable. I generally add poly to foam poppers and epoxy on clousers.
here is the dryer I made out of inxpensive materials. Rotisserie motor and bracket I was not using anyways on grill , 4-6 rpm motor 120VAC Cut 2x4 as base... free square wooden dowel cut to length $.98 at Lowes plastic fly case from fly shop of choice.... free craft foam inside case used for funeral flower arangements... free alligator clips from radio shack ...8pack $4.00 wooden stick qtips attached to alligator clips are pushed into the foam... free works pretty good and saved a lot of money ![]() ![]() |
