Townsend places to stay

I am looking for accomodations for one, maybe two at the most, around the end of April. I'd like to stay near Townsend and the park entrance. I stayed at Bear Hollow Cabins last year with a group, but this year there's no group. Not looking for anything fancy, just basic accomodations. Anybody have any options?

Try "Treemont Hills." They have rustic cabins with no bathroom and bunks for 4 people, but the shower/bathroom is just steps away. I think they have TV, heat and air and are about $60 a night. OR you can get a deluxe cabin with a a bathroom and seperate bedroom that sleep 4 for $90 a night and it's the last campground on the left before you enter the park (You can't miss it, it's last on the left when coming from maryvile and though townsend and it has a bridge over the river to get to it). They also have tent and RV sites.

The Tally Ho is close to the park entrance and always gives me a discount if I mention LRO. Not sure about April, but I stayed there last weekend for less than $60 per night plus tax. Clean rooms with refrig., coffee maker and TV. They have a website where they post their pricing - www.talleyhoinn.com

Tally Ho, the on-site restaurant is pretty good as well!

Only been down once but my "Guide" had us staying at Docks. Worked for me.
All we needed was a place to sleep, shower, and dry the waders. Fishing and Trout Fest got all our time from dawn till we were ready to crash.

Will be staying there again this May.
