I was absolutely covered up with a small hatch this afternoon in Cataloochee. Saw a few big fish, hanging out close to the banks in some slow shallow runs. I was having to beat the hatch off of my face around 6 pm. The bad news was that I tied on every fly in my box, and not one strike. Earlier in the week the brook were loving a #16 Blue wing Olive with an orange parachute. No such luck today, Can't wait for some warm rain!!!!
