Default Camping with kids

Where is the best place to take young kids (under 10) camping with a chance to catch some fish? I have a 9 year old nephew I was thinking about taking camping this summer. I also have younger kids that I would to take some time as well.

Thanks!

Daniel Mc.

try one of the campgrounds in Townsend. That way they can use spinners or corn ( ) for stockers.

The KOA in Cherokee has a stocked pond for the campers....any place in the park will only have wild trout and for the average kid the catching is tough...for the best camping experience in the park I would go to Elkmont....great campground, tubing and one of the best swimming holes around....you are only about 15 minutes from Gatlinburg and the city has some stocked water that is reserved just for the kids....

I took my 6 year old to the childrens stream in gburg and he was on a fish in about 15 minutes. It's a cool little place to go for kids. We camped at the KOA in Townsend and it was great. Really clean.
