Default Where to go Thurs and Fri

I'll be in Townsend Thurs and Fri with my son for a little fishing.

Where would you all recommend going to try to get a 13 year old boy on some fish? In the park and he is a pretty decent fly fisher.

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

The water temperature today high on the Middle Prong and at Metcalf Bottoms was 44+ degrees. It is going up but the fishing is not great. I would recommend the West Prong of the Little River above the confluence of the Middle Prong. I was up there tonight and it looked beautiful. You also might let him fish outside the Park in the stocked waters through Townsend. There are some nice trout in there right now. Try the swinging bridge behind our old store or behind the Catholic Church. Throw streamers. I saw some people fishing just outside the Park this evening. The water levels are good.
