It was good to meet you yesterday. It's always good to put a face with the name. I'm never too preoccupied to stop fishing and chat with another fisherman. Now, once, my son was pretty busy impressing a bunch of girls who stopped by to watch us fish (it worked, they were impressed) but I'm always ready to stop and chat.

It was a great couple days in the Mountains.

Byron, Paula, Bill and Daniel were all great as usual. If we didn't have to leave this morning, I would have chatted banjos and guitars with Bill. He's a banjer picker (and I forgive him for that minor indescretion).

All-in-all, I don't think my son and I could have had a better time. Now, we have to mark time until our next trip later this summer.

That same bunch of girls hit the stream about 30 feet up from me. And there was a really nice pool I was planning on hitting right where they landed. Oh, well. I can imagine that was a fairly significant distraction for Daniel.

I'll look for you next time your down. By that time, I'll be spending some significant time up on WPLP.
