will someone please help me with access on the holston? I live in k-town, so I need to fish it more, instead of driving all over the state...
I've fished below the dam before, other than that, what are some other decent access points? any info appreciated. ttas67@gmail.com

Here is some directions I made for ya. I don't know exactly where you are coming from, but if your from Knoxville, you should be able to figure it out. Once you get there, you can walk up to either the first or second rapid, and also in between. These are the normal fishing holes and you'll definitely catch more than a few if the weather is good.

Was out there the other day. Fishing was alright. Dropped my thermometer and got right at 50 degrees. Thats probably on the low end of the spectrum when it comes to good fishing. Although I don't know how warm it actually gets, especially running out from under a dam. Anyone know how much the weather is as an influence on water temps of tailwaters like the holston?
