Jeep....the trail is actually a road bed up to the footbridge....very easy hike in...for the most part the road is right next to the river and all the water is tempting....from the trailhead above the campground it is 3.7 miles to the old parking turnaround....with picture taking, gawking and a few old man rest stops I can usally count on 25 minutes a mile....so I usually take less than 2 hours to get there....campsite 24 is another half mile up an actual trail....once you get to the footbridge you have to choose your water....LR to the left and Fish Camp Prong to the right....generally fishing here is like most places in the park....you are never very far from the trail so standard precautions.....enjoy.
