Default Suggestion

On the fishing report, with the suggested files, create a link from those flies to your on line catalog for purchase and referance of fly description. Nothing wrong with a slight push towards a sale! It is your tool use it to your advantage. Also as a suggestion since fly tying material would be too hard to picture in your catalog use a manufacture's part number. I believe they are on most bags and being a creature of habit I tend to buy the same stuff for my favorites. Just a thought......

Hi Brian,

Good idea. Daniel has been working on that for a few weeks in his spare time. We'll get it going at some point. The hatch chart will show the fly when you mouse over the name, then you can click and go to the online catalog to buy the fly.

The problem with fly tying materials is availability and the quantity of units. Most tying suppliers are often out of items. It would be hard for us to keep track of what is in stock and what is not. I think we have around 5,000 items in the fly tying department. I don't know if we will ever do that.
