Are the USGS Quad maps of the Park available at the visitors centers? I was going to order online, but S&H is a bit steep.

JoeFred-
I know Sugarlands has the 7.5 topos. I have bought all the Smokies 7.5 minute maps (about 35 all together) written all over but I picked up a topo computer program that is excellent. You can print off what section you want or go in and create icons, etc to mark your maps. I have Topo USA. It has the entire US on topo maps. An older program is better...it actually is scanned 7.5 minute maps seamless. It is called TOPO! But anyway the NPS Visitors Centers do have them. If you join Great Smoky Mountain Association you get 20% off one purchase then 10% off the remainder for a year. Good deal! ---- Jeff |

Thanks, Jeff. I'll look into the program also.
