Default streamers

I was just wondering how many of you use alot of streamers in the GSMNP?? I've done a little bit of streamer fishing, but it is usually only during high water. In my younger years I used to swear that a heavily weighted muddler pulled through the fast water was the best way to catch trout in the world. However, I really haven't given it an honest go-around in the park.

I'm sure some of you use them when you're in the mood to look for some BIG fish, but I'm more interested in hearing how they do on average. I've always been a numbers guy myself. If you catch enough trout, sooner or later you'll get a big one. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
