Dadgummit y'all...talk about jumping the gun! If I'm to qualify this month, it looks like it will have to be just under the wire....due to soccer, school, etc...it looks like we won't be able to make it back up there until the last weekend in April. Pretty fish - I suspect the list will be long this month.

This one was caught, along with others of the same ilk, at Miller's Island on a good ol' Jujubee midge. Caught on April 7.

Default Small White Bass

Here is my first entry. Sorry about the picture quality. The wife was with me, and she is not familiar with my camera. Should have taken some pics of last months trout trips, but didn't catch anything picture-worthy.

Caught on 4/7/08 on a #6 white woolly bugger below Melton Hill Dam.

Default Travis!

Man, I could tell you how to have some major fun just below that dam!!!! Tie up some chartruse and pink jig head fly's and chunk um out as far as you can throw em'....Generators have to be on and hold on!!! Skip jack as big as your forearm and one heck of a fight! It's killer fun, especially on spin gear! They'd wear you out on a fly rod! MiniTarpon!

Not the best photo quality, but a nice little white bass none the less. Caught on 4/9/08, Bluewater Creek(AL) on a blue/white clouser.

Just had to add this one. Caught my first Brookies this past weekend(4/20) Toccoa River BHPT #16

Default Clinch River Brook

If I have identifed correctly (worm pattern on top, yellow spots with some a hint of blue, white line on fin) Brook Fan has caught his 1st Brook.

April 16th Clinch River #16 Hare's Ear Olive 7"
