Thanks for updating the site rules and reinforcing your stance on the board, hopefully everyone will read them. I have been concerned recently with a couple of poster's language but hopefully this will straighten everything out and remind everyone what this board is really about. You have maintained a tight ship and it pays off, this is the only message board i know of that isn't political or plays home to a potentially hostile environment and i, for one, greatly appreciate your time and effort. This message board is one-of-a-kind as far as boards go and one can only hope that we can all work together to keep it that way.

Paula....More power to you....I echo the above feelings about your sight...the message board and Byron's reports are how I stay connected to this peaceful place we know as the Park....it is an escape from being bombarded with political trash from every other media....I am only able to get up there once or twice a year so I use your board to vicariously experience my favorite spots through the posts on your board....thanks again, Jim W.

I, too, have been concerned with some of the tone and language used here lately. I promise to watch carefully.

And, while it's joked about around here, I really don't relish the role of the enforcer. I'd really prefer everyone just play nicely all on their own.

I'm sure that I have violated the board protocols more than once. At times I've read things I disagreed with or that "pressed a button" and by the time sanity has returned, it's usually too late to retract my response. However, I'm happy to report that my rehabilitation is moving swiftly ......I try to take 10 seconds before I just "blurt" something

We've enabled "Edit" so that if you forgot something, you can add it!

That works for retractions too.
