FYI, Alcoa is going to fix the sinkhole in the dam this year. Starting on September 2nd they are going to be drawing the lake down about 20-25 feet. Should be completed by late 2008 or early 2009.

I've been wondering but I can't confirm this. Are we going to be able to fish the river? There are going to be a lot of fish concentrated in the old channel. Even if we can't fish, I am going to be spending some time over there looking around and taking pictures.

according to the news you still have "limited" access to the lake. I dont see how with a drop of 25 feet.
