I was up on the Clinch today from about 8 until the generators started up at 10. I fished right below the dam and it was pretty slow, but then I moved down under the wier dam and had one of the coolest things happen to me.
I was pitching a Sparkle-Pheasant Tail that I tied just for this spot a few months ago - size 16 about 2' under an indicator. I caught a Brown, a Brookie, and a Rainbow standing in the same spot in under 10 minutes. Now none of them were too big (although the Brookie was bigger than any I've caught in the Smokys), but it was neat that all three species are catchable in the same general area. I thought it was neat, anyway. |

Congratulations on a Clinch slam.
I am going to have to head over that way soon. Would like to see what one of those brookies looks like. Neal |

They are healthy looking now but they will be gorgeous in the fall!
