Will be heading to Nashville the week of oct.6th and was wondering what my options were as far as some fishing spots in and around that area. went to vanderbilt but didn't pick up fly fishing until last year. so i am somewhat familiar with the area. i have a wedding that i need to go to about an hour east of nashville, so either in the nashville area or east somewhere would be great. thanks all.

An hour east of Nashville is perfect as you've got the Caney Fork for some good trout fishing...can't go wrong there...

What this man said... I got the chance to go fishing with him on the Caney as well as Gerry Romer, and Gerry and I pulled in a trout maybe every 20-30 minutes, maybe less where David here was pulling them in on nearly every cast. The Caney is FULL of trout.

typiece,
The Caney is a good place to drown a nymph for an afternoon with plenty of water to explore. Luke Warmwater www.southeasternfly.com |
