Question cannon rebel xsi

I know last week I was asking about the nikon slr digital cameras, but does any one have any knowledge or experiences with this camera?

My next door neighbor has one, and they really enjoy using it. I hear it is a little more user friendly than the Nikon, and my opinion is that you can purchase quality Canon lenses for cheaper than comparable Nikon. Picture quality, as for most DSLR's, is somewhat dependant on the lens one uses. I know people who use the cheapest bodies from Canon and Nikon, but with quality lenses take some stunning photos.
