Default Little River 10/31

Went to Little River today. Started out at the same place that I did last time I fished LR with about the same success (what's the saying about trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results?). Did see this little guy sunning on a rock.

After a long time and little luck (one tiny bow), I moved upstream above the spot where Mannis dumps into LR. The water temp was around 45 so I wasn't too hopeful - Oh Dopey Me! First place I put in I caught this nice rainbow (about 10 1/2") on a BHPT.

Caught one more in the 9-10" range.

Beautiful day to be up in the Smokies.

Hard to beat the Smokies in the Fall.

Looks like a great day by my recent standards!!

And I was just thinking I needed to try that stretch below Metcalf again this Sunday....
