I helped a guy land a 20.25 inch Brown. He was fishing the weir dam and neither of us had a net. Since I was out in the water I offered to help. I grabbed that sucker and he immediately tried to wiggle free. I held him tighter and he started sliping out of my hands. I had to bury my face in him to keep him from slipping. The fisherman was more than pleased to get the Big Brown ashore. I got a shot and will post when I get it downloaded!
I also caught a nice 16 inch Brown, 2 nice Brookies, and a couple of Rainbows and other small Browns. Great Day, and it barely rained! I love the Clinch! |

I bet he was happy you came along! I was at Miller's Island all day. Caught several rainbows, 1 nice brookie, and a decent brown. Saw some absolute monster browns down that way. Most I got out of them was to chase a woolly bugger out of their nest. It was a little better fishing than this past Saturday.

what is the deal with scuds on the clinch? i've been told by some that the clinch doesn't have hardly any but i've heard from others that they are a staple in their diet.

a few weeks ago, I caught at least 100 fish on the clinch with a #18 scud pattern. I'd say they like 'em!

I saw the same guy up there last week. He said he measured at 22 inches.
