Hi everyone.

I've been lurking and learning for awhile now, so thought it was time to make the move. (Thanks for your help Paula).

I live in New Albany, MS and have been coming to the mountains for quite some time. Mostly to photograph, but now more interested in the fishing. Finally caught my first GSMP trout the first week of November this year. A small Brookie living in Roaring Fork that fell for one of my poorly hand tied Parachute Adams.

I wanted to thank everyone here for all the great information that I've been able to obtain and hopefully I'll be able to contribute in some small way. Great site for sure!!

Welcome, dvcaviness. Congratulations on your first GSMNP trout! I'll never forget the first trout I caught in the Park.

Default Welcome....

.....to fly fishing in GSMNP. Photography in the park I'm sure is attractive - fly fishing in the park is addictive. Many happy returns to you. Glad to have some new friends from MS.

Thanks for the welcome!
Your right Charlie B, fly fishing in the park is addictive.
Hope to get up that way for Troutfest 09.

Best Christmas wishes to all.
