Default Anybody else notice the shad kill from Norris?

Fished the Clinch this afternoon. There must have been a small shad kill earlier. There were the occational threadfin shad dead on the bottom. I would have liked to been there when they were coming through the generators. I have always heard of the infamous kill on the Caney and White rivers which brings the big boys up, but I have never seen threadfins dead in the Clich. Hope it gets colder and maybe get another kill.

Somebody's been eating sushi...I know, which one is fatter!

Nice! Haven't heard of a shad kill from Norris before but it is very interesting...might have to do some further investigation... That is a beautiful rainbow by the way...

Very nice bow. I would like to be there when the shad kill went through also. By the looks of that fish they all ate well.

Default Sunday generation

The water was off from 12Noon - 6PM. We did not get there until about 2 and left about 5:30. Cold. I am still trembling and talking in a falcetto voice from the hole in my waders.....at "my seat"!

I was on the Caney a few weeks back and had the leak and told myself to fix them. Then I looked at the gen. schedule yesterday and said, "freeze or don't fish". So much for putting things off.

I missed a couple of bigger fish. Broke off on the hook set. I have to get some fresh tippet. In all, I caught right at a dozen, ALL within the slot.

Sounds like a good day, besides the hole! Did you get the info from the TVA website or did you call in? I have been watching the website like a hawk and have not seen any times where TVA is not generating (2). I may have let that day slip by. I am having withdrawals from the Clinch!

I just happened to look thinking they would still be running. Rather be lucky than good!
