Thanks guys, I actually went in January, but couldn't set the hook on anything. The three fish I caught this time all bit on a larger black Zebra Midge (size 16). I usually catch them on size 18 and smaller, but they wouldn't even bite them this time. Don't know why. The other good thing is that my dry and my dropper were both tied by me and I got hits on both. Still haven't caught anything on a dry though. Will be up in the mountains on March 14th-16th to try my hand there. Will still be a bit wet and cold, but I will give it my best shot and then come back in May.

Well, it's not a big ol trout or even one of the smallies that we were chasing today but it was an opportunistic feeder! It took a #12 Yuk Bug. I think it is a Rosyside Dace...kinda a pinkish hue to it...but I am definitely not sure. Indian Creek TN.

As Daniel once told me, "It has fins and swims - it counts." Congrats on 12 months in a row! (BTW, Paula's rules say that you can post more than once in a month if you find that "big ol trout".) Nice job, Troutslayer! Need to edit your post to say what kind of fly you caught it on. Rules is rules.
