Yep, I would have settled for a stinkin' snail darter in January, but three hours on the Caney and 3 or 4 bites and no fish, but it's becaues I forgot all of my flies except my streamers.

Brent fished with us on the Caney Fork on 2/9/09 and threw some bucktails to a feeding brown or two. Here is one of them we boated early in the trip.

I have never caught one of those but man it looks as if it would definately be fun.

I finally got out and Caught a Trout this year! It was a 10in. Brown Trout on a #16 CopperHead Zebra Midge on the Caney Fork.

My son caught one larger it was 23 inchs long
