Default Can't wait......

Hello all,
haven't been on the board for a while. I've had a chance to read a few post but not many. Another season in the duck blind, and a good one. The youth hunt is this weekend and even though I don't get to shoot, I'm pumped up the night before for the kids. I know I can put em on some birds, it's fun to watch after that. Sooooo, put up all the gear, convince the dog that everytime I come out of the house, it's not mandatory to 'load up', and then get some chores done, reintroduce myself to the wife, well it will be time for me to get back on the stream. Looking forward to fishing some new water once again this year. Have been helping a friend build a drifter (at least before the season started) over the winter. Will be an interesting year. Hope everyone has been doing well on the water, the reports sound fairly well. Pray for more rain. We are still behind on rain I think.

Can't wait

stuart,

I dropped in on my buddy today while he was working on it. I helped with putting the gunnels on the transom and the bow. He figured it was about 6 to 7 hours to do just that. It's slow but he's meticulous about it. It will look good when finished. The wood is beautiful. Seats, anchor mechanism, final coating on the floor, and a bunch of finishing coats is all he likes being done. It will be delayed by two weeks though, he's getting ready to go on a fishing trip.......
