I caught it on a #14 tellico nymph dropped off of a #16 BHPT.
I had just bought some new fly line and was going to cast it around. I really didn't expect much to happen, but some blue quills started to hatch and overall it was a good day.

It's March in Alabama....time for the yellow bass! Got a little trip in after work today. Caught on a Clouser on Bluewater Creek.

That's one of the most vivid and colorful yellow bass I have ever seen. I have never seen one with stripes as dark as those.
