03/20 Middle Prong; #16 Quasimoto


I'll add this one because it's my first (I believe) on a wet fly. 03/15 West Prong of Little River; Quill Gordon emerger. A little on the blurry side.

Caught on 3/20 using a #18 BHPT.

BRF, a Quasimoto is a pheasant tail nymph with a bent shank and some green flashing on it. It also has a copper bead head. Should be able to find in the LRO catalogue.

Thanks. The Holston river bows do appear to be quite healty for early spring. My Brodin Cutthroat net seems to dwarf anything less than 17", and it is hard to tell the size from the photos.

I hope to have a white or yellow bass similar to yours for my April fish.

Well, was hoping for something unique this month but will go ahead and put up this rainbow as fishing time has been a bit hard to come by. If I catch something more interesting I might change... This 'bow took a #18 black RS2.
