Default Hello from Chattanooga!

I am an avid backpacker and have backpacked 500 miles of the AT and many of the trails in the Smokies. After several years away from fishing period, I have gotten the urge to bring a fly rod on some of my trips in the Smokies.

Welcome. I am the opposite of you. I liked fishing so much in the backcountry, I started hiking and backpacking. When I was in college, I would take week long trips through the park and do some 50 and 60 mile loops and fish along the way. I wish I had as much free time as I did back then so I could continue to explore. Good luck. You have come to the right place for info.

Mocs give me a shout when you get ready to do a backcountry fishing trip. That is how I got back into backpacking. Would love to go this spring on Hazel or any other spot.

Hey Greg, I didn't expect to see you on here. I'd love to do some fishing this spring, what dates do you have in mind? Maybe you can teach me a thing or two.
