I wouldn't call the Willy J Tech Jacket a rain jacket, more of a wind breaker IMHO. I have worn it in the rain several times and it has never kept me dry. The fabric saturates almost instantly. Its a nice looking jacket and will keep a light drizzle off but don't expect it to perform in a downpour. I keep it in my fishing pack but only because it packs so small and "might" come in handy someday.

I was going to pack my Simms in-vest jacket, but after reading this I think I'll take my G-3 jacket instead.
