Last week I spent a week on Hazel. We hiked about an hour above the Proctor confluence. Not sure if we made it to the Cascades or not. Does anyone have a picture of the Hazel Cascades or know of a link with a picture of the Hazel Cascades.
Thanks |

If you hiked about an hour above proctor you should be close if i recall correctly. I haven't been there yet, a late fall trip last year got foiled, but i have read up extensively and i believe it is a couple miles above proctor. I believe it is around the confluence of the last creek that runs into hazel, but i could be wrong. When i get home i can find out for sure where it is if no one else has responded.

Sam, Thanks for the pictures. I guess I am still not sure if this is where I though the Cascades were or not. We ended up at a pool where the trail crossed Hazel to the other side. It looked like a pretty nice pool for that high up. It seemed like a place that would have been hard for fish to get past because the water falls were pretty high.
P.S The Brock trout fishing was great, caught 38 Brook trout and 1 rainbow in two days from Proctor up to where I thought might be the Cascades. Fished last Thursday and Friday. |
