Craig - You're going to be a week or so ahead of us. Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about with the Fork Ridge Trail and I'd like to hear from you whether you made it to your destination or not and how the hike turned out. I've read where it can be done. If you don't want to discuss it on a public forum, I'll give you an email address.

I've followed Younger Tom up goat paths in Glacier NP and down disappearing game trails in Panther Town Valley where I was hanging on Rhodo limbs to stay upright. At my advanced age, it's in my best interest to hike smarter than harder.

I understand. We are planning on doing some exploring around there so i will let you know how it turns out when we get back. Should be for some good fishing if the weather holds up. Just send me an e-mail if i happen to forget.
