Default St Simons Island GA fishing

I am headed to St Simons Island GA for a wedding in mid june. I have a kayak and was thinking of wetting a line while down there. Has anyone fished the area or have any input to point me in the right direction. I have fished the gulf quite a bit before but never the east coast. I was thinking of using the kayak to get around and wading flats once I was there.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I fish Charleston a bunch out of a yak, I don't know any spots down in Ga but I would be armed with Copperheads for the reds, and electric chicken clousers for the trout!!

There's a fly shop on the Island, the Bedford Sportsman South, where I expect they'll be happy to give you some guidance, not to mention sell you some flies and maps.
