David,
I'll be in Telluride for the music festival from June 17 through the 21 (including driving, we'll be gone from the 14th through the 24th). I'm definitely taking my equipment and thinking about stopping at the Jemez River basin in New Mexico on the way out if I can get my cousin to stop for a couple of hours one afternoon. Where is the Gunnison relative to Telluride?

Close...relatively...probably an hour or less...you're welcome to join us for a day of fishing if you're interested...just shoot me an email... Not sure if you're into the big river thing but even if the stoneflies aren't on, East Portal will be killer fishing with scuds and midges. More 16 inch trout than you could imagine with plenty of 18-20 inchers thrown in for good measure....
