Just bought my first boat that I can turn a key and stand up in! Still love the yak but this is a bit better, can't wait to chase tails and tarpon in Fla next summer!

Sweet, love it! Does it have any kind of protection from scuffing rocks or anything? Just curious how it holds up to anything like that. Nice boat man!

Congrats It is awsome to have your own saltwater boat (got mine two years ago); it opens up all kinds of cheaper possibilities in the brine. How are things in my hometown of Waynesville? That stone house in the background looks familiar, is that up near Grandview Circle? I can't remember, I moved to Knoxvegas 30 years ago.

Thanks Boys! Seagul I actually live in that stone apartment over my garage, it is in between Canton and Clyde, I lived in Waynesville for several years now here, I work in Waynesville at the old hospital where you were probably born! i figured I wanna chase saltwater fish, i can wade almost all of the water in our area, and I got a kayak as well, this thing will tackle lakes no worries why not!

What kind of push pole are you going to get? Yes there are alot of hard sand bottom areas in our coastal areas but there are also some places you can't wade. Plus keep in mind, when you get out of the boat in salt water, you become part of the food chain.

Haha! Yea I grew up surfing, and have surfed in places as far away as Costa Rica & Portugal, so I know all about being "a part" of the food chain! Have been way to close to quite a few of our toothy friends from the salty depths, happy to say I have only been bumed. I will say I like my chances better with a boat, than a surf board!
