GSMNP and guns
What do you think about the recent Legislation allowing guns in parks? As someone new to the area I would find it interesting to hear the view points of those who have been fishing and camping in the park for some time.

guns in GSMNP
As a follow up and clarification to my post I understand that the new law does not apply to GSMNP. However, a park official mentioned to me that new legislation is underway to allow guns in GSMNP.

Please, not again....
Don't be offended, but this topic has been discussed on several occasions on this forum. Do a search on "guns in the park" and you will find a wealth of Threads/comments...

Thanks Pete for posting what i was thinking. Whatever happens with this thing, it will come down to politics and nothing more. I am willing to roll with whatever happens.
