I've realized I need some bass flies, so here's some ties I've done lately. feel free to critique or whatever. I think the legs on my stealth bombers are a little long, but better long than short, as I can always cut em down.

Those are some well done flies. What do you call the articulated one?

I don't know the name of that fly. Eddie Wyatt from Johnson City created the pattern. It has tungsten dumbell eyes and is heavy as a rock.

I like that one too and the first SB has a Vols. flavor to it, nice! What about the wiggle minnows, have you had success with them? Do you fish them alot? I think they're a great looking fly and I have a couple of the shad pattern I bought from LRO but I haven't thrown them much for whatever reason.

Those look great Trevor. You might want to put a little more arch into the back on the WM. That helps the wiggle motion. Be sure and use a non slip loop knot.
Bran, wiggle minnows work great for breaking bass in the early mornings on the lake. Give em a try. |

Gary, thanks. yes, they could use a little more arch.
Bran, I just started tying them, and haven't had a good opportunity to fish them much, but the action is phenomenal. What's suprising to me is that the fly always stays upright.
