My good buddy and smoky mtn fly fishing guide Chad Williams, ties these for me. A very good Oct. caddis dry fly pattern.

That's nice Troutman. Is the body made of tubing? Don't think I've seen a dry made that way.

Its latex. cut out from a latex exam glove. Its a nice cream color and you can color them any way you like with prismacolor markers.
I tie some generic attractor caddis patterns and can color them as needed. This one is just tied with deerhair (notice the black tips) and the plain cream body tied on standard dry fly hook.  latex tourniquets also make nice segmented bodies on stoneflies.
