TJW,
I highly recommend the fly tying classes at LRO.

I took a beginner class hosted by a local club here in KY and then the advanced class at LRO about a year later. You'll learn more in a couple hours in a class than you will in months of trial and error on your own.

You'll get it but tha class makes the learning curve much quicker.

I am considering taking one of the classes if I can ever stop blowing money so fast and have a little extra.
