Default Clinch/S.Holston?Wautauga

Me and BigPopper are thinking of taking a day trip from Nashville. We will drive there, fish and back in a day. I was thinking of these three rivers as I have heard a lot about them, but only fished the Clinch. I realize we are in for a long day, but, of those three, which is the closest to Nashville and which has the best chance of not sluicing/generating if we decide to go. I can check the generation schedule, but sluicing is a different story. Any advice is appreciated.

Oops...Guess I should have mentioned we are coming down a week from Saturday. Thanks for the info. Same thing up here. Even when they aren't generating, they are sluicing like crazy.

Thanks for the info, yeah we've fished the Elk and he wanted to try something new. This is going to be tricky.

The South Holston will only have a 4 hour window on Saturdays based on the current TVA schedule.

About the time we think the lakes are drawn down, we get more rain to raise the level, better to have the water than the drought.

By "Bridge in Siam" do you mean the big steel bridge (the single lane one)? Are they tearing it down? Gosh I hope not.
