Did you happen to check water temp while you were up there? How was the water level? I would hope that it had receeded some by today. You sure picked a beautiful day to be out.

The rod is a 6ft 2wt bamboo, built on a Nunley taper by a good friend of mine in WV. I have it lined with 1wt line and an 8" brookie feels really nice on it! nvr2L8, I didn't check the water temp, I would guess somewhere around 45. It was cold enough to put chill your feet but not cold enough to keep them from rising to a dry. Also, I thought I was out in Yellowstone as I was coming down from Chimney Tops! There was a black bear off on the hillside and traffic was backed up a good 1/2 mile both directions. AND...just like Yellowstone folks were getting a little too close - just to get a photo. ![]() Chris
