Default Happy Thanksgiving!

Didn't know which site to post this but hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving with family and friends. It looks to be a good day to walk off all that over eating and imbibing on Friday! Hopefully the trout will be having their own feast when we get on the stream.

Happy Thanksgiving!

To all--Let me echo the above well wishers for Thanksgiving, and all of us should pause to ponder, full of wonder, how blessed we are in the country in which we live, no matter its current problems, and in the splendor of the Smokies in which we fish.

Everyone, Happy Thanksgiving. If you're driving, please be safe. If you're just sitting at home waiting for the turkey to be done, remember it really is OK to eat dessert first (and then eat it again after the turkey).

Just a little tip from uncle Jeff.

Hope you all have a good one.

Jeff

Flyred06--A hearty AMEN to that thought, and I'd encourage each and every one of you, when you are in an airport or restaurant and see our servicemen and servicewomen, to tender a personal "thank you" to them. Judging by the smiles I've received on the occasions when I did just that, it means a great deal.

What a great post, ditto to all above happy Thanksgiving all, and yes make it a point to go out of your way to thank a serviceman/woman in uniform it does let them know we care. And you always get a smile in return.
