Smile Hello & MERRY CHRISTMAS to all

I'm in the shenandoah valley of Va. my mt.fishing is mostly in the skyline drive .that means a lot of long walks up hill after fishing all day for beautiful Brookies.Santa is bringing my a book on fishing the Smokies So between it & this site I'm planning on fishing the smokies this spring Looking forward to hopefully meeting & maybe fishing with others people on here

Dennis--A hearty welcome. You live in an absolutely lovely part of the world, and I've always been particularly impressed by the pride folks living up and down the Shenandoah Valley take in the land. Minimal litter, clean farms, neat yards, and an obvious love of the land. The drive up and down old Highway 11 has always seemed to me like dream travel.

Jim your book is what Santa is bringing me,I'm looking forward to it.Then start planning my trip to the smokys. next time your up this way try some fishing on the Skyline Drive i'm sure you will enjoy.

Dennis--Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the book. I've actually done a fair amount of fishing in the area, although most of it came years ago. I also remember noticing specks in tiny headwaters when I was wandering around turkey hunting. Jim Casada
