Default New 3wt Setup

Thought I'd share my new 3wt setup I recently put together. It is a TFO Finesse Series 7'9" 3wt, Orvis CFO II, and Rio Selective Trout II WF 3wt line.

I've only cast it in my back yard so far, but I'm pleased with it. I haven't played with too many rods, but it has a slower action that I really like. It allows a nice soft presentation.

Nice set up. I like the CFO's too. Hopefully you will not have to wait too long to get it on the stream.

That CFO really sets that setup off. I have two of the older CFO reals. They are really pretty sweet. I have mine setup on bamboo rods but that setup you have looks very nice. I am sure you will have a tremendous amount of fun with it.

I thought the combination had kind of a classic look, which I like. The drag sounds nice as well.

The store I bought it from had a Made in England CFO II as the display model, unfortunately they didn't have any still in stock. The English one did appear to be slightly better made/finished, but I'm still happy with the one I have. I should have tried to get them to make a deal on it.

Classy and classic looking outfit. I hope you catch many fish with it.
